Hongguo International Holdings Limited is a specialised designer, manufacturer and retailer of high-quality fashion products headquartered in Nanjing, China. The company behind one of the leading premium brands of ladies' fashion footwear in China, Hongguo was incorporated in Bermuda on 26 April 2002 and listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange on 5 June 2003. Currently, our Group consists of five wholly owned subsidiaries including two flagship ladies' fashion footwear labels - C.Banner 千百度 and E.Blan 伊伴. We have also expanded into contract manufacturing and work with several international footwear brands on distribution.
Our management has played a significant role in establishing our Group's market share in the PRC ladies' shoes industry.
Our "C.banner 千百度" brand of fashion shoes are marketed as quality upmarket ladies footwear, targeted at the brand and fashion conscious consumers, and has gained recognition within a short time span. The "C.banner 千百度" premium brand was ranked 2nd in 2005 and 3rd from 2002 - 2004 in terms of market share according to an annual market survey of the ladies' leather shoes industry by The China Industrial Information Issuing Centre of the National Statistics Board of the PRC.
We pride ourselves on having built a dynamic design and sales team whom keeps abreast with international fashion trends and consumer preferences to create our distinctive line of contemporary women's footwear that complements trendy young professionals.
In 2004, we took a leap in expanding our market coverage, through the successful launch of our second brand of ladies fashion shoes "E.blan 伊伴", a mid-range ladies' fashion shoes brand targeted at the third and fourth tier cities in the PRC. We subsequently acquired Jiangsu Unity Corporation ("JUC"), a chain of 50 boutiques carrying international fashion apparels such as Byford, Hugo Boss, MaxMara, Bodyline and Ermenegildo Zegna.
As at June 2006, our reach has extended into China's major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and in provinces such as Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Zhejiang and Fujian, with over 670 boutiques and retail outlets in major departmental stores. We strive to expand our market coverage in the PRC and continually seek to capture new consumer segments.
As a testament to our quality standards and manufacturing capabilities, we have been appointed as contract manufacturers for several international brands, including American high-end brand "Nine West" and Australian well-known brand "Colorado". Since being an outsourced manufacturer for Colorado in early 2004, they have increased their commitment by approximately four times in the first year alone. We believe that this is due to our commitment to quality, delivery schedules and dedication to our customers.
We will constantly explore for more new opportunities to thrive and further expand our market share in the fashion footwear industry, in both China and overseas countries. |
